Building Capacities - Strengthening Systems - Ensuring Greater Halth Outcomes
The ’PRO.MS - Program Management Solutions’ is GHAI’s capacity building project for the civil society organizations on program and grant management, and is premised on the USAID’s cardinal principles and journey to Self-Reliance and local partnerships, enhancing the countries’ ability to plan, finance, and implement solutions to solve its own development challenges, through reinforcing local capacity and commitment, establish partnerships between USAID- PEPFAR and local organizations that have shared collective vision with mutual accountability to the USG , country, communities and beneficiaries, with the following desired Goals:
1. Stronger institutional systems of local organizations to align and be in compliance with USG requirement.
2. Strengthen technical competences to attain and maintain HIV epidemic control among the targeted population groups.
3. Leveraging Partnerships for Sustainability - strengthen trusted partnerships between USG-prime Implementing Partners and local sub-partners for enhanced performance, compliance, and sustainability of programs
4. Support the transition of prime funding and implementation to capable local partners (indigenous organizations) in line with the PEPFAR’s goal
5. Increasing the impact and cost-effectiveness of every dollar invested continuous use of granular epidemiologic and cost data to improve partner performance and increase program impact and effectiveness.
6. Institutionalizing USAID Operational policies into local organizations in a simplified phased manner to ensure they are understood and adhered both for compliance and organizational risk management
